Responsible Gambling

At BestOdds, your well-being genuinely matters to us. Gambling can be entertaining and enjoyable — we get that — but it works best when you’re in control. That’s why we’ve put a range of tools in place to help you manage how you play, and to make sure things stay fun rather than stressful.

Deposit Limits

One of the simplest ways to keep your spending in check is to set a deposit limit. We offer three options:

  • Daily deposit limit
  • Weekly deposit limit
  • Monthly deposit limit

Setting a limit means you won’t accidentally spend more than you’re comfortable with. You can update these limits at any time directly through your account settings, so they can grow or shrink alongside your budget.

Time-Outs

Sometimes you just need a bit of breathing room. If you feel like stepping away for a while, you can set a temporary time-out:

  • 24 hours
  • 7 days
  • 14 days

While a time-out is active, your account will be inaccessible and we’ll pause any marketing messages from reaching you. It’s honestly a pretty effective way to reset without any pressure.

Self-Exclusion

If you’d like a longer break — or you’d rather stop playing altogether for a period — self-exclusion gives you that option. You can exclude yourself for:

  • 1 month
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 12 months

Your account will be blocked for whichever period you choose. Once that time’s up, you can reactivate it if you decide to return.

Account Closure

If things have become overwhelming and you want to close your account for good, please get in touch with our team directly at cs@bestodds.com. We won’t make it difficult. Our support staff are there to help you through the process, no questions asked.

Recognising Problem Gambling

It’s not always easy to notice when gambling stops being fun and starts becoming a problem. Some warning signs to watch out for include:

  • Spending more time or money gambling than you actually planned
  • Chasing losses in the hope of winning money back
  • Borrowing money to fund gambling activity
  • Keeping your gambling hidden from friends or family
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or on edge when you’re not gambling

If any of these sound familiar — and they’re happening regularly — please do reach out for support. There’s no shame in it.

Support Resources

We’ve partnered with trusted organisations that can offer real, confidential help:

  • GamCare: 0808 8020 133 / www.gamcare.org.uk — GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of free information, support and counselling for problem gambling. Their National Gambling Helpline is available 24/7.
  • Gamblers Anonymous UK: www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk — A fellowship of people who share their experience and support each other in recovering from problem gambling. Meetings are held across the UK.
  • BeGambleAware: 0808 8020 133 / www.begambleaware.org — A nationally recognised charity offering free support, guidance and treatment referrals to anyone affected by gambling harm in Great Britain.

These services are confidential, non-judgemental, and genuinely helpful — whether you’re concerned about your own gambling or someone else’s.

Age Restriction

BestOdds is strictly for players aged 18 and over. We use verification checks to help ensure that underage individuals can’t register or place bets on our platform. If you’re a parent or guardian, it’s worth looking into parental control tools — software like Gamban or Net Nanny can kind of act as an extra layer of protection, blocking access to gambling sites on shared or family devices.

At the end of the day, gambling is entertainment. It’s not a way to make money, and it shouldn’t feel like one. If it stops being fun, please don’t hesitate to reach out — either to us or to one of the support services listed above.
